Banana Leather is made from puréed banana, mixed if desired with other puréed fruits and / or honey, that is then either:
spread on a flat surface covered in baking wrap, then dried in the oven at a very low temperature (around 140 F / 60 C) so as not to melt the plastic;
or dried either in a fruit dehydrator.

The problem many people have, especially with fruit hydrators, is that it can stick so badly to the drying trays that they have to soak it off.

Food drying fans say that flipping it a few times during the drying process and not spreading it too thinly will help prevent this.

It is very chewy and sticky.

In Asia, it is sometimes wrapped in banana leaves (leaves stick to it.)
