Bush Beans

Bush Beans is a loose term to describe beans whose plant grows as a small bush.

The plants will grow 2 to 3 feet (60 to 100 cm) tall.

They usually don't need staking, so there is not as much maintenance work involved as with pole or runner beans.

Beans in the bush bean group can be ones meant for fresh eating, for drying or for both.

Bush Beans tend to grow faster and put out beans for harvest earlier than pole beans.
