Fish Stock à l'improviste Recipe

A very good stand-in for fish stock that would otherwise take hours to cobble together.

Directions
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce right down to a simmer for 15 minutes.

The secret to this recipe is in making sure that the 1/2 cup of wine used in it isn't your last, otherwise that would defeat the purpose of the 15 minute simmer: time enough to dash out on the balcony with the remainder in the bottle for a fag and a slag before the wretched hordes arrive demanding food.
Easily doubled.
