Hazelnut Oil is a nutty-brown coloured oil with a very pronounced, strong flavour of Hazelnut. The nuts are cold-pressed to extract the oil.

It is very popular in France.

Cooking Tips for Hazelnut Oil

Use as a flavouring or "finishing" oil rather than a cooking oil. Use in very small quantities so that the flavour isn't overwhelming.

Will smoke at 430 F (221 C) -- but it's too expensive to cook with, anyway.

Nutrition for Hazelnut Oil

Low in saturated fat, rich in Vitamin E.
