Onion Powder is dried onion that is ground to a powder, to be used as a spice.

Equivalents for Onion Powder

1 medium onion (2 1/2 to 3 oz) = 1/2 to 2/3 cup chopped = 1 tablespoon onion powder
1 small onion ( 1 1/2 oz) = 1/3 cup chopped = 1 teaspoon onion powder = 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
